Handcrafted Candles

Essential Tips for Candle Care

At Maison Morganti, our handcrafted artisanal candles are made with high-quality natural waxes and premium fragrance oils, ensuring a luxurious and clean burn. Because we strive to use only natural ingredients, our wax may not always appear perfectly smooth—but this is a sign of its authenticity and purity, not a flaw. The slight variations in texture do not affect the quality, scent throw, or burn time of your candle.

First Burn Matters

Let your candle burn until the entire surface melts evenly (about 1.5–2 hours) to prevent tunneling and ensure an even wax pool.

Embrace The Natural Wax

Our natural wax may have slight imperfections like uneven textures, but this is a sign of purity and does not affect performance and quality. Once relit, it will smooth out naturally.

Trim Your Wick

Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to 3-5mm to ensure a clean and even burn. A wick that is too long may produce excess soot or an unstable flame. Trimming also helps prevent any unwanted mushrooming at the tip of the wick, which can cause uneven burning.

Burn Smart

Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time to maintain wax quality and fragrance integrity. Let it cool before relighting.

Keep The Wick Centered

Ensure the wick stays centered to promote an even burn and prevent wax buildup on one side.

Proper Storage

Keep your candle away from heat and direct sunlight to preserve fragrance and color.

Safe Extinguishing

Use a candle snuffer or wick dipper instead of blowing it out to reduce smoke and prevent wick drifting.

Safety First!

Always burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from pets, children, and flammable items. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Stop using it when only 1 cm of wax remains to avoid overheating the container.
